Welcome to Sommplicity. By accessing or using somm-plicity.com ("the Service"), you agree to these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
Sommplicity provides wine education tools including daily quizzes, producer profiles, bottle scanning, and learning frameworks. The Service is operated by Gina Biernacki ("we", "us").
You may create an account using Google Sign-In or email and password. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials. You must be at least 21 years old (or the legal drinking age in your jurisdiction) to use features related to wine purchasing.
Sommplicity offers free and paid (Pro) tiers. Pro subscriptions are billed monthly or annually through Stripe. You may cancel at any time from your account settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. We do not offer refunds for partial billing periods.
Sommplicity Shop purchases are handled through Shopify. Digital PDFs are delivered by download link after checkout and by email to the address used at purchase. No Sommplicity account is required. Digital downloads are generally final sale once accessed, but if a file is missing, corrupted, or not delivered, contact gina@somm-plicity.com with your order number and we will help resolve it.
All content on Sommplicity, including quiz questions, producer profiles, frameworks, and design elements, is owned by Sommplicity or licensed to us. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from our content without written permission.
You agree not to: (a) use the Service for any unlawful purpose, (b) attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Service, (c) interfere with the proper functioning of the Service, or (d) scrape or bulk-download content from the Service.
Wine education content is provided for informational purposes. While we strive for accuracy using authoritative sources (WSET, CMS, Oxford Companion to Wine), we do not guarantee that all information is complete or error-free. Always verify critical information independently.
The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Sommplicity shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service.

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms. We will notify registered users of material changes via email.
